The Rosary
At the Cross, Jesus entrusted Mary to the Church to be our Mother and us to her to be her children. The Rosary is a grace imbued way in which we can cry out to the Blessed Mother to intercede for us to Christ her Son our Lord, that she might win special graces for us by her prayers.
It is also an opportunity for us to mediate – in true Christian meditation – upon the mysteries of our Blessed Lord Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. It combines vocal prayer with mental prayer and meditation and also keeps our senses busy with the action of moving the Rosary beads through our fingers.
