Ways to Give

One-Off Giving

Cash

One-off cash donations are always welcome and help us greatly with the day to day running of the parish as well as paying the parish share. Cash donations can be made into any of the donation boxes in church.

If you are a tax payer, please complete a Gift Aid form when you make a donation. By doing this, we will be able to claim tax back on your giving at no cost to yourself. Gift Aid forms can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. Every little helps!

Cheque

Please make any cheques payable to ‘Skirbeck St Nicholas Church’ and send to ‘The Treasurer, 24 Threadneedle St, Boston, Lincs, PE21 6SP’

If you are a tax payer, please remember to complete a Gift Aid form and send this in with the cheque.

Online Banking

An ideal facility for those tech savvy among us. Please email us on skirbeckstnicholas@gmail.com for the details to make a direct transfer into the church’s account. As with all other donations, please also send a scanned Gift Aid form if you are eligible.

Regular Giving

Standing Order

If you can make a regular commitment – be it monthly, quarterly or annually – to support the life and work of the Church in Skirbeck, you can complete a Standing Order form and send it to your bank to set up this method of regular giving. Alternatively, you can set this up yourself via internet banking. If you are able to support us in this way, please scan a copy of the Standing Order form, along with the Gift Aid form if you are eligible, and email it to us for our records.

Parish Giving Scheme

Similar to a standing order, the Parish Giving Scheme is a monthly payment scheme aimed at tax payers and administrated by the Parish Giving Scheme Team at central church. They are able to apply for tax relief to HMRC on behalf of the church on a monthly basis, meaning that we receive the tax which is reclaimed more regularly. All of these payments are then forwarded to the parish account. Please email us on skirbeckstnicholas@gmail.com for more information as this way of giving has its own dedicated packages.
